Runaway teen
Naïve Xanthe faced a world of pain this week on Neighbours when she realised that her teacher Finn Kelly was using her.
The teacher and student have been growing closer over the last few weeks and their inappropriate relationship imploded when Xanthe followed Finn onto a plane bound for Hong Kong.
Luckily, the Federal Police arrived just before the plane took off, wanting to question Finn.
From bad to worse
But, never one to be out-smarted, Finn quickly placed a box of painkillers in Xanthe’s bag and accused her of poisoning Susan!
When Mark told Xanthe that Finn had pointed the finger at her, she immediately shut down, devastated that he would betray her.
After the extent of Finn’s betrayal sunk in, Xanthe willingly told the police everything she knew about fugitive Finn.
Xanthe decided to confront Finn over his behaviour, calling him out.
This is when Xanthe got a taste of Finn’s true self as he tore Xanthe apart for having a crush on him.
But, Xanthe revealed that she actually had the upper hand as she had recorded his confession!
As Finn tried to wrestle the phone out of her hands, he collapsed. Will Finn be ok?
Day of reckoning
Meanwhile, Toadie scrambled to save Sonya this week when her court date arrived.
Toadie asked the victims of the backpacker’s accident to write a character reference for Sonya, which Piper was happy to do.
But a protective Tyler jumped in, telling Toadie that Sonya is the reason why Piper can barely walk!
This caused an argument between the young couple, with Piper furious at Tyler speaking for her.
Toadie’s hopes were raised when Piper wrote the reference; could this be enough to get Sonya over the line?
As Sonya andToadie arrived for her sentencing, Sonya grabbed Toadie and told him that she loved him! Fingers crossed Sonya isn’t sent to prison after that grand gesture of love.
