As Neighbours fans said goodbye to Ramsay Street last night during the epic finale, they were delighted with many celebrity cameos from familiar faces.

There was a video message from Donna Freedman (played by Margot Robbie), cameos from Beth Brennan (Natalie Imbruglia) and Felicity Scully (Holly Candy), and many more.

Amongst the dedicated fans glued to their screens to soak in Neighbours’ final moments, there were plenty of celebrities who were just as keen to watch the soap come to a close.

From Ramsay Street to Hollywood! Where is the Neighbours cast of yesteryear now?

Olympia Valance, who made a cameo in the final episode as her character Paige Smith, took to Instagram remotely to reflect on the soap coming to an end.

“WOW. So that’s it, the last episode ever of Neighbours. What an end of an era for us all. Big love from Greece, Flick and Paige ❤️ @hollycandy.”

Comedian Julia Morris proved she’s a Ramsay Street fanatic last night as she shared this close-up selfie featuring her TV screen. And we definitely spot Neighbours in the background.

“Neighbours is making my life tonight #neighboursfinale Congrats @neighbours jx (posted a snap that didn’t give away any secrets x ).”

Natalie Imbruglia and Holly Candy were all smiles in this behind-the-scenes snap from their time together filming.

Their characters, Beth and Felicity, met for the first time in the final episode and got on like a house on fire, and it seems not much is different when the cameras stop rolling.

Also sharing a tribute to the Aussie soap was Elvis impersonator Mark Andrew Tabone, who is married to former Olympic swimmer Lisa Curry.

Sharing a photo from his time in Ramsay Street, the entertainer wrote: “Farewell @neighbours, 2010 I played Chris Pappas dad Ric Pappas and 2019 I played an Elvis celebrant, small parts but glad to be a bees D-ck part of it!!”

When good enemies become good friends.

Putting their friendly rivalry aside, competing soap opera Home and Away sent a message to the Neighbours team to mark the end of an era.

“Hats off to the amazing cast and crew at Ramsay Street for an epic 37 years,” the post read.

“Neighbours will forever be an iconic part of Australian television history. From everyone here in the Bay, massive respect and admiration for you all.”
