The drama picks up with recently appointed principal Jane (Annie Jones), who lays down new laws for her teachers.

Elly (Jodi Anasta) is caught sneaking off campus to meet boyfriend Mark (Scott McGregor) during lunch.

Having already gotten off on the wrong foot with a dress-code violation, the young teacher pushes Jane to her limits with this new bit of rule-breaking.

The principal tells Elly she has no option but to fire her.

Elly is left devastated by her firing.

Devastated, but not wanting to burden Mark, Elly turns to Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) for comfort.

In an effort to buoy the brunette, Chloe organises an afternoon of pampering.

Having grown increasingly close in the past weeks, Elly and Chloe discuss their gratitude for one another. Both women are thankful to have found such a wonderful friend in the other.
