It’s time to sink MKR’s resident villain “Seafood King” Josh

Where's a scuba tank when you need one because MKR has found the human embodiment of Jaws... And it's time for him to go.

Here at Now To Love, we understand there is a genetic make-up for a truly splendid reality TV show.

You need a charming hero, that person that would be in your group and our favourite…

And to balance the recipe out, you need a villain that makes you scream.

Urghhh… International model Dave.

If you’re truly #blessed you’ll have your very own Osher.

So it comes to no surprise that on our favourite cooking show, which features an Irishman, a Frenchman and a guy that like his nuts activated, has its fair share of drama, snark and pots simmering with sass.

But this season of My Kitchen Rules has cooked up one rather questionable character… Enter Queensland’s Amy and her hubby Josh Meeuwissen.

Producers dubbed Josh the “Seafood King”, but we find that rather offensive.

The sweet creatures of the sea do not deserve to be lumped with such an evil land mammal.

SWIM AWAY DORY… SWIM

In last night’s episode, Courtney and Duncan landed themselves in the first elimination cook off.

While they waited to see who they’d be versing, Courtney joked that she hoped Josh would land in the bottom two.

The Queensland native was clearly displeased with Courtney’s decision to comment on the matter, blasting her in front of everyone, including judges Pete Evans and Manu Feildel.

“I think you guys will be going home today, and I hope you do.”

“Some people don’t get along with me. Court’s one of them. I wouldn’t get along with her outside (the show),” he continued.

“I can’t wait for them to go. You can’t wait to get back to your job. You shouldn’t even be here.”

Josh’s behaviour has shocked viewers across the nation.

“Josh’s comments came out of the blue,” Court said in the post-package.

“He can’t cook. The funny thing is that he’s got so much bravado but it is all talk.”

Josh seems to disagree, musing, “We’re a threat in this competition and people should be worried of us.”

For those who may have forgotten, Josh and Amy’s instant restaurant scored a measly 43 out of 110.

Their main of fish and chips was awarded a very worthy 1 out of 10 by Pete.

Woman’s Day reported the judge and contestant came to blows during the first round of the show.

The 42-year-old celebrity chef was shocked by how rude the contestant was to everyone.

“Throughout shooting, Josh really played up his villain role. He was arrogant and antagonistic, just as producers had hoped and encouraged,” reveals our source.

“But he took it too far when he said he thought paleo was rubbish. Pete initially took it in good humour, but at Courtney and Duncan’s instant restaurant, Josh really started throwing a few jabs at Pete directly.”

“At one point, Josh started saying paleo was “a bunch of bull—-” and asked Pete if he thought he was being a hypocrite for breaking his diet
for the show,” our source says.

According to his fellow contestants, Josh treats his wife in a similar manner.

Court said, “The way he speaks to his wife or over her or put her down — I’d always go “excuse me Josh, I think your wife is speaking”.

On Amy’s part, it seems she’s sick of her hubby’s ways, telling him, “All I care about is cooking.”

The pair may be safe now, but with Josh’s attitude and general cooking skills, we expected out of the kitchen in no time.
