Now that Matty Johnson has handed out the final rose (and stunning diamond ring)to Laura Byrne in the season finale of The Bachelor Australia 2017, it’s now Sophie Monk’s turn to find love.
Ahead of the premiere of The Bachelorette on Wednesday night, we asked Matty J what his top 10 best pieces of advice would be for Sophie (and it includes cheese!)
1.Don’t judge the guys purely based on the first night – nerves will definitely get the better of some.
2.You’ll forget a few names, I’m sure they’ll understand.
3.Be prepared to consume more cheese then you ever have before.
4.Always follow your gut.

5.Pay close attention to how the guys act on group dates, this is when their true colours will reveal themselves.
6.Be patient – just because you don’t fall in love straight away doesn’t mean it won’t happen.
7.Seek advice from Osher [Gunsberg] as much as you can, he’s a relationship expert.

8.Rose ceremonies just get harder and harder and harder each week.
9.I know I don’t have to say this one but just be yourself.
10.You’re going to break some hearts and there’ll be tears but it’s all worth it in the end.
