File this one under one we didn’t see coming!
It’s already been the most dramatic season in The Bachelor Australia history, with the catfights, scandals and Bachie Matty inviting his protective big sister Kate into the mansion last week to grill her potential future sister-in-laws.
But the mansion is really getting a shake-up now that a shock new intruder is said to be on the way.
And, drumroll please… She’s none other than Matty’s model ex Nathalie Darcas!
Sources say filming went into chaos after Kate outed Simone Ormesher, 25, and Leah Costa, 24, as topless waitresses.
“After that, things went south,” claims a source to NW.
“Producers had to go into damage control and do something to shift the focus.”
And we’re told that sure enough Nathalie’s phone started ringing pretty soon after with an offer to join the series – as an intruder!
“Bringing back the ex is a bold move,” a source tells NW. “The girls are already on edge expecting new competition any day now, and this would seriously blow it out of the park.”
The girls have good reason to feel threatened by Nat, as Matty has revealed that the reason they split wasn’t because they fell out of love, but rather because she was headed overseas for work.
But now, it looks like the one who got away is back for good, with Nathalie recently spotted in Bondi Beach, which is, of course, where Matty lives in Sydney.
Meanwhile, the Bachie mansion is buzzing with anxiety over intruders, with Laura Byrne, 30, telling NW, “I know they’re going to come at some point in time, and genuinely if he likes them more than he likes me, then go for it.”.
