After Australia fell in love with fire fighter Cameron Cranley on Georgia Love’s season of The Bachelorette, it’s no wonder he’s the fan favourite to be our new Bachelor!
Though Cam is yet to confirm he’s got the job, his mate and Bachie alum Matty J definitely approves!
“We’ve still got a group chat with a lot of the guys from that season of The Bachelorette, so as soon as the stories about Cam being the next Bachelor came out, we messaged Cam and were like, ‘Tell us what’s happening!'” Matty tells OK!. Yeah Cam, spill already! We’re dying to know, is it ‘yay’ or ‘nay’?

“He denied it to us,” admits Matty (thanks for crushing our souls). But then quickly adds, “But we know if he was going to The Bachelor, he would have to deny it.” True! Sneaky Cam!
With the rumour mill in overdrive about Cam being joined by his twin brother Kyle in a ‘double Bachelor‘ special, Matty says he’d definitely encourage Cam to give it a crack. “He would be an amazing Bachelor!” he insists. “I can’t believe he’s still single. I’d be more than willing to give him a few pointers and tips.”

Although the 28-year-old’s previously said, “I’m not sure if I’d be any good [at being The Bachelor],” Cam admits that he’d “definitely consider it.” Combined with his notable absence from Bachelor in Paradise and we have a pretty convincing picture, folks!
And his adoring fans on social media agree he’d be a perfect fit. “So are the rumours true eh? New [Bachie]? You were my pick from day one,” wrote one user on Instagram, with Georgia Love even commenting “OMG are you going to be the new Bachelor OMG please follow me!”
