After a two year hiatus, the 62nd TV WEEK Logie Awards officially lit up our screens!
Held within The Star Gold Coast Entertainment Precinct at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, the stars walked the red carpet and sat down to see who would take home the lucrative awards.
Hamish Blake, Julia Morris, Karl Stefanovic, Melissa Leong, Ray Meagher, Sonia Kruger and Tom Gleeson were all up for the coveted Gold Logie, but there are still many other categories to celebrate!
This year someone received the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter that was renamed in honour of the late TV legend. The award was presented by Bert’s wife, Patti Newton.
“We are so thrilled Bert is being recognised this way and will be part of the Logies every year moving forward. It was such a big part of his career and he just loved it, so I know he would be pretty pleased with this honour,” she said.
