When former Bachelorette Sam Frost landed a role on Home And Away, it was her Hell’s Kitchen co-star Lincoln Lewis who offered advice.
“He has been so supportive and lovely and has given me some good tips,” Sam says of the Summer Bay alumnus.
Coincidentally, when TV WEEK caught up with the 29-year-old, he hinted his character, Geoff Campbell, who left the Bay in 2009, might make a comeback.
So could we possibly see romance blossom in Summer Bay between Lincoln and Sam’s characters?
“If there was a fantastic storyline and if it was a good challenge for me, then I’m open to it,” Lincoln says.
“I want to do more local projects. I loved my time on Home And Away – I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”
Lincoln has tried to crack Hollywood in recent years, even working with the likes of Hollywood A-lister Will Smith on 2013 sci-fi film After Earth. But he says there’s no place like home.
“I want to see the Australian industry grow,” he says. “We need to make more shows and films here. It’s starting to happen, which is great.”
Lincoln hopes one day he’ll be a star as big as his idol – the late Heath Ledger.
“Heath was the man,” he says. “Even now, before I go and audition for things, I watch some of Heath’s movies.”
