The Bachelorette Australia star Jarrod Woodgate stated what he was looking for in his dream girl last month – “fit, healthy and a family girl”, and, as he “hates cigarettes”, a non-smoker.
But an insider has branded Jarrod a hypocrite, claiming he “smoked like a chimney” in the mansion.
“He just pretended to not like smoking because it gets such a bad rap,” our source tells.
When we put it to Jarrod straight, he played down his unhealthy habit.
“I’m a social smoker. If I’ve had three beers, I’ll have a cigarette,” he tells us.
“But I think that’s nothing. I try to hide it from my mum as much as I can.”

Jarrod previously lashed out at smokers, but it turns out he likes a puff too!
Meanwhile, Jarrod says he felt “ganged up on” in the house.
“Brett and Blake were always trying to stir things up,” he says.
“I definitely felt ganged up on but I’m used to it. When I was younger I had issues at school. But this has just made me stronger.”
