Melissa George, who played Angel Parrish from 1993-1996 on the show, has revealed some comments that have fans thinking she’ll be back in The Bay in the near future.

The actress told The Daily Telegraph, “They have offered, but I don’t know.”

“It is a hard thing to shake and at one point I tried to shake it, but there is no point.”

Will she make it back in time for the 30th anniversary special?

Melissa played Australia’s sweetheart Angel Parrish from 1993-1996.

But these comments are quite a back flip, considering she had some pretty scathing comments on the show back in a 2012 interview.

“I don’t need credibility from my country anymore, I just need them all to be quiet.”

“If they have nothing intelligent to say, please don’t speak to me any more. I’d rather be having a croissant and an espresso in Paris or walking my french bulldog in New York City.

“I’ve never spoken out about it because I have to be the loyal good Aussie, who goes away and comes home.

“But I’m a really hardworking woman and people have to respect me for what I’ve done … my next call will be to Home And Away to ask them to pay me because nobody does more promotion for that f…ing show than me.”

Melissa, who won two Logies for her role on the iconic Aussie soap opera, currently lives in Paris with her two sons, Raphaël, 4, and Solal, 2.

In 2016, it was reported that the actress arrived at a French police station at 3 am with bruises on her face after she was allegedly struck by her former partner and father of her children, Jean-David Blanc.
