When Carrie Bickmore overhauled her signature blonde strands for a head of luscious brunette locks back in August, loyal viewers of The Project were left divided.
Now, almost six weeks later, you would think that the buzz around her brown mane would’ve died down… Well, the 35-year-old has confessed that her major tress transformation has upset one of her most loyal and loving fans: her nan!
“Oh, Nan doesn’t like my hair,” she said during last night’s episode of The Project.
“Nan watched the TV for two weeks and thought I had gone on holidays and that they’d found a girl with different-coloured hair as me that sounded like me to fill in for me.”

When Carrie first unveiled her new brown ’do, the mum-of-two – who changed her hair as part of her ambassadorship for Garnier – stressed that she was ready for a change.
“I have had the same hairstyle for 35 years and I thought, ‘Why not?’” she said.

Carrie is just one of a horde of hair-changing celebrities to spruce up their strands this year, with the likes of Kristen Stewart, Cate Blanchett, Taylor Swift and Emma Roberts opting for a revamped hairstyle.
