As Tane and Felicity’s wedding day nears, thoughts of love aren’t just in their hearts, but in others’ in Summer Bay too.
In Home And Away this week, it’s obvious that Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) and Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) have fallen for each other, yet neither seems willing to say anything.
Bride-to-be Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) decides to help her best friend Eden – even if it means making some last-minute changes to her own big day!
First step is to find out where Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) is planning to hold the buck’s party for his uncle Tane (Ethan Browne).
Next, she manages to convince Eden that the hen’s-night karaoke bus tour she had organised might not be such a great idea after all… maybe dancing at a nightclub one last time as a single lady would be more fun.
But is Felicity’s plan going to push the pair together or tear them apart?
”Eden and Cash have a strong history and connection,” Stephanie tells TV WEEK.
”Nick and I really want to create authenticity. I think viewers will be excited with where they go.”
When the two parties ”accidentally” meet up, Eden realises it’s all been part of a set-up and turns to drink to hide her humiliation.
Cash, meanwhile, believes Eden changed the plans to force him to admit he likes her after all.
It’s not quite the happy accident Flick had planned, but will it still be a meeting that lets Cupid’s arrow strike its mark? Or will their combined displeasure at being manipulated actually ruin any chance of them getting together?
Also this week…
With her controlling husband Jacob watching her like a hawk, Bree has been careful to keep her feelings for musician Remi – with whom she’s had an affair – a secret.
However, a session out in the surf convinces the doctor it’s time to take the plunge on dry land too, declaring she’s going to get a divorce. To celebrate, Bree (Juliet Godwin) is taking Remi (Adam Rowland) on a very public date.
”Remi’s first feeling is relief that Bree is empowered to take the steps towards liberating herself from the toxic relationship,” Adam, 31, tells TV WEEK.
”The date, albeit fraught with danger, is special for him. The woman he’s falling in love with wants to be with him.”
But when Jacob (Alex Williams) learns of the relationship, he storms into Bree’s hotel room and demands she leave Summer Bay forever.
When Remi arrives to rescue the woman he loves, Jacob overpowers him and ties him to a chair.
Then he gives Bree a terrifying choice: leave immediately or watch her new boyfriend’s musical future ruined with hammer blows to his hands.
A terrified Bree doesn’t know what to do, but for Remi it’s simple.
”He’s just thinking, ‘Whatever you do, don’t turn that hammer on Bree,”’ Adam says.
”Smash both my hands – I don’t care – but please don’t hurt her!”’
Home and Away airs Monday to Thursday, 7pm on Channel Seven.
