The 25 year-old actress who plays the flirty and feisty Olivia Fraser Richards, told The Daily Telegraph that her departure from the show has left her feeling a mix of emotions.

“I didn’t go to drama school so this was my acting school. I have a huge emotional connection to the work itself, to the people and to the routine of it all so it was certainly bittersweet and emotional.”

And while she’s open to working in Hollywood, the actress wants to keep things local too.

“I just love Australia and the work we produce too much to walk away from it. Australian stories, told by Australians for Australians, is so important and if I can be a part of that, I will.”

After playing Olivia for three years on the show, it’s clear she will be missed. Her co-star, Lynne McGranger, who plays Irene Roberts, shared a sweet tribute video to Instagram of their characters’ best moments.

“Love these memories of working with a beautiful actress and an amazing human being,” she captioned her video.

One fan account commented, “I know I’ll be bawling my eyes out for sure. It’s been an absolute privilege being able to watch and support you on your journey on the show over the past few years, and I truly hope that you’re showered with nothing but happiness and success in your future.”
