We’re only into week three of The Bachelor Australia 2017 and there’s a long while yet til Matty Johnson can reveal who his leading lady is.
But that hasn’t stopped the reality star from taking to social media to share a sweet tribute to the other important woman in his life – his mum.
In a heart-melting move, the 30-year-old shared a candid pic via Instagram with his mama dearest as they soaked up the sunshine in Sydney’s Cremorne Reserve over the weekend.
“Sunday spent hanging out with my biggest fan,” MJ captioned the shot, which shows his mum looking at him adoringly.
But it didn’t take long for those clever Bachie fans to point out a rather odd detail in the happy snap.
Many noted the strange cropping of the photo, with one of Matty’s arms around his mum and the other cut out of the frame.
One user questioned: “Who’s he cropped out tho?”
“This photo looks purposely cropped… I bet his girl is on the other side. Don’t know how I feel about our man leaving us in the dark like this,” another joked.
While one fan bluntly summed it up by saying: “Someone’s been cropped out.”
Laura has been quickly touted as this year’s winner.
However, it’s highly unlikely MJ would be out roaming the streets of Sydney with his new Mrs in the broad light of day.
Maybe he just didn’t like what his arm looked like? Or maybe his Insta editing skills just aren’t as sharp as his horse riding skills.
Since the show’s premiere, Laura Byrne has been tipped as the front-runner to win Matty’s heart.
The blonde beauty was even the first contestant to steal a kiss from the Bondi babe.
But if there’s anything we’ve learnt from past Bachie series is that there’s always a plot twist and more to the picture than you know!
