It’s been talked about for years, but now it seems Packed To The Rafters could return to our screens sooner than expected.

Chatting to TV WEEK, actor Erik Thomson, who played Dave Rafter on the Channel Seven drama for six seasons from 2008, revealed a reunion could be on the cards.

“I think we’re all quite keen to do a reunion show,” the 51-year-old says.

“We haven’t officially been approached to do anything, but it would be good to somehow put something together.”

Meanwhile, Rebecca, who played Erik’s wife Julie, has also expressed interest in getting the crew back together.

In particular, she’d like to act alongside her former on-screen daughter, Jessica Marais, once more.

“I’d love to work with Jess again,” the 53-year-old says. “Watch this space.”

Of course Jess, who won the Most Popular Actress award at the 2018 TV WEEK Logie Awards, has just signed on to star in Nine’s new drama series Bad Mothers.

The 33-year-old actress will join former Love Child co-star Mandy McElhinney, along with Shalom Brune-Franklin (Doctor Doctor, Our Girl) and Jessica Tovey (Wolf Creek, Wonderland).

Bad Mothers promises to be a thrilling drama, that takes a dark turn when four very different mother’s lives collide.

“Some mothers are perfect with a beautiful home and the perfect family but sometimes behind that pristine picket fence, there’s a world of dirty little secrets,” Nine Network and Screen Australia say of the new series.

Logie award winner Jessica Marais is set to star in new series Bad Mothers.

Meanwhile, Jess’ on-screen brothers have been busy with their own series as well.

Angus McLaren, who played Nathan Rafter, appeared on Home and Away earlier this year. While Hugh Sheridan, who starred as Ben Rafter, joined the cast of House Husbands for its final season in 2017.

If a Rafters reunion did move ahead, we’d love to see all three siblings reunited on-screen!
