He’s yet to enter The Bachelorette Australia, 2017 mansion and will reportedly make his grand entrance as an intruder later this season, and now Stu Laundy is being vetted as a serious contender for Sophie Monk’s heart.
According to a new report in the Sun Herald Stu, whose family run a string of extremely successful pubs, has completely bowled over Sophie.
“If they do get together they will be really good. They’re both really good, funny people,” an insider told the publication.

“[The Laundys] are quite devout Catholics but pretty down to earth people. They made their money from some pretty rough pubs so nothing would shock them and she [Sophie] does like a drink,” they added of the 44-year-old, who is the heir to an eye-watering $500 million pub dynasty.
“He likes people to know who he is, but he is a great guy,” the source explained.
And it’s not Stu’s first foray into reality TV, either!
In June, the father-of-four appeared on the SBS show Filthy Rich and Homeless, which followed several high-profile Aussie identities living rough on the streets.
His bio for the show reveals that Stu is a “a third-generation Sydney publican, who was born into an empire and has seen it grow into a multi-million dollar business.”
“Stu enjoys a work hard, play hard lifestyle. When he’s not in the boardroom, he enjoys cruising around Sydney harbour aboard his luxury super yacht.”
Hmm, yachting about on a super yacht sounds like something we can definitely picture Soph doing! Plus, he’s already a loving dad to four kids and the 37-year-old says she really wants to start a family.

Stu divorced his wife Rachel in 2013 and has since been linked to stars like Laura Csortan, Sophie Falkiner, Stephanie Rice.
In June, he opened up to Sydney Confidential about the challenges of dating.
“The whole mindset of dating has changed so much since I was a last single. It’s a different world now. The women are in charge,” he said.
“I go on dates and I’m struggling to pick up a bill.”
