The date has been set for this year’s TV WEEK Logie Awards, an annual celebration of excellence in Australian television and the country’s most prestigious television event.
The glitz and glamour of the 60th TV WEEK Logie Awards will take place on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at The Star Gold Coast in Queensland. All the action from the red-carpet arrivals and awards-show celebrations will be telecast on the Nine Network and 9Now.
The official voting period for the 60th TV WEEK Logie Awards opens on Monday, March 5, and closes on Sunday, April 1. Fans will be able to cast their vote through the official website: www.tvweeklogieawards.com.au
This is the public’s chance to vote in the 10 “Most Popular” categories, which include Most Popular Actor, Most Popular Actress and the big one – the TV WEEK Gold Logie Award For Most Popular Personality On Australian TV.
The shortlist of nominees will be announced on Sunday, May 27.
And then, in an exciting first for the TV WEEK Logie Awards, 2018 sees the introduction of live voting. In the lead-up to the Logies ceremony, the public will have another chance to vote for the winners in the Most Popular category.
Live voting for the 10 Most Popular awards – including the Gold Logie – will reopen on Friday, June 29, and will finish at the end of the TV WEEK Logie Awards red-carpet telecast on the Nine Network and 9Now on Sunday, July 1.

Queensland Minister for Tourism Industry Development, Kate Jones, said for the first time Australian TV’s biggest stars will be celebrating their wins in Queensland.

The TV WEEK Logie Awards are an annual celebration of the finest talent on Australian television. Organised and sponsored by TV WEEK magazine, the awards are split into two categories: Most Popular, which is voted for by the public; and Most Outstanding, which are awarded by a panel of TV WEEK and industry experts. They are considered the industry’s highest honour.
