Earlier this year, the Aussie superstar was confirmed as the local host for Netflix’s Ultimate Beastmaster – the streaming service’s answer to Ninja Warrior.

TV Tonight reports Dannii is now fronting Channel 7’s upcoming series Dance Boss.

TV superstar Dannii Minogue has a big year ahead.

The new show is said to be inspired by viral videos and sees dance crews formed in the workplace put through their paces by world-famous choreographers. They’ll battle it out in front of three yet-to-be-named celebrities who will judge on entertainment factor alone.

“It’s about people in the workplace who might have a dance crew together,” Seven Programming boss Angus Ross tells TV Tonight.

“It’s a chance for them to face-off. It’s a big, shiny floor studio show and we have had some amazing auditions. They are incredible and they certainly put a smile on your face.”

In the first season of Dance Boss we can expect ten amateur dance troupes take to the floor including: ‘the doctors and nurses’, ‘the car salesmen’, ‘the airline staff’, ‘the printers’, ‘the marketing team’, and ‘the public servants’.

“This is not a comedy show,” the original casting call read. “It’s a show that celebrates the human passion for dance.”

Meanwhile, Dannii has also revealed she’s been in talks for a potential return to Home And Away.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph in February, Dannii admits the show’s bosses have been in touch.

“‘[The producers have] definitely made contact,” she says.

“‘[But] If I did it, I’d want it to be short and sharp, in and out, because those schedules are huge.”

On reprising her role as Emma Jackson, Dannii adds: “I was thinking about it, actually – could it be like an American soap opera, where I come back as [old character] Emma Jackson’s sister?

“Like when someone goes upstairs, or dies, and they come back as someone else. I want it to be kind of kooky if it does happen.”
