It’s been a roller-coaster year for Married At First Sight‘s most controversial star, Cheryl Maitland.
We were glued to our screens as the feisty contestant came to blows with twins Michelle and Shaz, then Scarlett (who got the police involved!), all while she failed to find love with Jonesy.
But the Gold Coast babe seems like she’s finally got it all sorted out with new squeeze Dean Gibbs.
We had to ask: Does this mean she’s now on good terms with Jonesy and the rest of the MAFS crew?
“You know, I think he blocked me on Facebook,” Cheryl spilled to NW exclusively. Err, we’ll take that as a no then.
But Cheryl says she made some lifelong friends from the reality show. “I still talk to a couple of the guys. I still talk to Sean and Lauren – she’s moved to the Gold Coast now.”
It’s safe to say Shaz and Nick won’t be invited around for cheese and wine anytime soon. “No, I don’t keep in touch with them. But they’re still together and best of luck to them!”
Despite the crazy ride that was MAFS, Cheryl tells us she doesn’t regret a thing. “Oh it has taught me so much! I’ve grown a lot through it. I’m a very strong woman and being on the show makes you stronger. I’ve realised my self-worth and that what I bring to a relationship is what I need to get back from a relationship.”
‘Atta girl.
