While there have been plenty of rumours and intense speculation at which sweethearts and villains could be returning to our TV screens for Bachelor in Paradise in 2018, Network Ten have remained tight-lipped – until now.

Tonight at the Ten Upfronts, the network officially revealed the first six contestants to descend into Bachelor in Paradise – a place where former Bachelors and Bachelorettes are whisked away to a lush beachside spot where they can all find love.

So, who are the six lucky ladies and gents?

We’ve got magician/the Hulk’s actual body double Apollo Jackson (Sophie Monk’s season), Davey Lloyd and Michael Turnbull (Sam Frost’s season), yoga-living mean girl Keira Maguire (Richie Strahan’s season), ‘dirty street pie’ Laurina Fleure (Blake Garvey’s season), and the loveable Tara Pavlovic (Matty Johnson’s season).

Network Ten announced the exciting news last month that the popular US reality show would get an Aussie version. They wrote in a press release: “Set in a romantic tropical destination overseas, Bachelor In Paradise will follow the contestants as they build new relationships, fall in love or face heartbreak, again.”

Dirty street pie is back! Laurina Fleure will make a return after her hilarious time trying to win over Blake Garvey in season two of The Bachelor.

Laurina wasn’t impressed with Blake’s pie van date…

Laurina might have to get her claws out with fiesty Keira Maguire, from Richie Strahan’s season of The Bachelor. Keira caused a stir after calling a fellow contestant a ‘peasant’ – and the nation didn’t know whether to love or hate her.

Richie’s yoga date with Keira went from bad to worse when she wouldn’t stop correcting his ‘posture’. He finally had enough and kicked her out of the competition mid-date!

He was the runner-up in Sam Frost’s season of The Bachelorette but Australia has always felt Michael Turnbull isn’t exactly the hype he plays himself up to be.

Michaels Squad

The prankster of Sam Frost’s shot at love, Davey Lloyd will bring the laughs.

We can’t wait to see who Davey bromances with this time round (and it definitely won’t be Michael).

He couldn’t win over Sophie Monk on The Bachelorette but let’s hope Apollo Jackson finds the right match!

Apollo put a spell on audiences for his cheeky charm – or maybe his biceps?

Matty Johnson may not have fallen for the bubbly Tara Pavlovic – but we sure have.

Tara is 100 per cent sunshine.
