Adventure guide and Survivor contestant Locky Gilbert is rarely in the same spot long enough to unpack his suitcase.
Luckily, neither is his girlfriend of more than a year, Jordan Cayless.
“Our relationship has always been away from each other,” Locky, 27, explains to TV WEEK.
“This year, both of us have been on seven different trips and not one has been together.”
Having met at an Australia Day party in their hometown of Perth, Locky and Jordan soon bonded over their mutual love of travel.
While model Jordan supports Locky and his passion for adventure sports, the Australian Survivor contestant says his girl still gets nervous when he jumps off cliffs.
“She’s getting used to it now,” he laughs.
Jordan is no stranger to being linked to a reality TV contestant – her gal pal is Married At First Sight’s Cheryl Maitland.
And when it comes to marriage, no doubt Cheryl’s TV stint got this couple to ponder the idea.
So if Locky wins Survivor, will he splurge some of the prize money on an engagement ring?
“She’d be pretty happy if I did,” Locky says. “But I think it would go straight on adventure and starting up a company or something.
“I know I definitely do [want a family], but the lifestyle I live is really hard,” he explains. “I know once I have kids, I’m going to have to stop that.”
