We might be a little biased, but the TV WEEK Logie Awards is the best event of the year and the wait is almost over with the grand ceremony returning on August 18, 2024.

There has been countless incredible milestones in TV since the 63rd ceremony. For one, wildlife warrior Robert Irwin made his hosting debut on I’m A Celebrity and has now earned himself a Gold Logie nomination alongside his co-star Julia Morris.

Netflix’s Boy Swallows Universe racked up an impressive number of nominations, Australia received its first version of hit crime series NCIS: Sydney with a second season on its way, and Bluey continued to snatch the attention of an international audience.

The 64th TV WEEK Logie Awards will see some of Australia’s favourite celebrities don their most glamorous gowns and tuxedos, and we will be there to cover the event live.

With all the nominees list made public, the countdown for the Awards has officially begun. Below we’ve answered all of your burning questions ahead of the 2024 Logie Awards, including where to vote.

When is the 2024 TV WEEK Logie Awards?

The 64th TV WEEK Logie Awards will take place on Sunday, August 18, 2024. Once again, the ceremony will take place in Sydney for the second time in 37 years, at the heart of the harbour city, The Star Sydney.

How can you vote for the 2024 TV WEEK Logie Awards?

Voting for the ceremony officially opened June 23 and voting for majority of the categories will remain open until 7pm AEST on Saturday August 17 – the day prior to the ceremony.

However, there are three categories will differing closing times.

The Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter and Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent won’t close until 7:30pm AEST Sunday, August 18, 2024.

Meanwhile, voting for the TV WEEK Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality of Australian Television will close Sunday August 18, at 10:30pm to give everyone at home an opportunity to cast their vote.

Fans can now vote for their favourites from the shortlisted nominees at tvweeklogies.com.au.

“With the nominations announced, it’s now over to the public to have their say. The public can vote on more categories than ever before, so if you are passionate about TV and want to see your favourite stars and shows shine, then get voting,” our Editorial Director Amber Giles said.

Who has been nominated for the 2024 Logies?

With 23 categories, there are plenty of presenters, actors, and shows nominated.

Julia Morris is nominated for the third year in a row for the 2024 TV WEEK Gold Logie Award, alongside her new I’m A Celebrity co-host Robert Irwin. Joining them in the nominees list is Andy Lee, Asher Keddie, Larry Emdur, Tony Armstrong and Sonia Kruger who took home the award in 2023.

After an incredible monologue in 2023 that had the audience and viewers at home in tears with laughter, the comedian Sam Pang returns as host for the 2024 Logies.

The Have You Been Paying Attention star teased how he plans to shake things up this year.

“Adding to the excitement Seven have also given me the greenlight to try new things this year so I’m really looking forward to displaying my underappreciated and severely undeveloped song and dance skills,” Sam revealed.

Who is performing at the 2024 Logies?
