The Queen is on the hunt for a cleaner to keep the rooms at Windsor Castle spick and span.

While no salary is mentioned, the job is for 20-hours a week and involves to “clean and care for everything from carpets and furniture to historic vases and irreplaceable paintings.”

The advert on the Royal website also mentioned that “it’s admiring a spotless room before thousands for the same.”

“Windsor Castle is an official Royal residence and premier visitor attraction, hosting State occasions and private events, while welcoming over one million visitors annually.

“You’ll work in all areas, including the public visitor route, staff offices, State rooms and accommodation, ensuring they’re presented to their very best.

“Aiming for the highest standards, you’ll clean and care for interiors and items, from rest rooms, carpets and furniture, to historic vases and irreplaceable paintings.
