There is hardly an event that screams majestic royalty louder than the opening of Royal Ascot, the centre piece of racing season.
This year the opening lived up to expectations with, as per tradition, Her Majesty the Queen being brought into the event via a horse-drawn carriage and all the makings of an impressive royal procession.
Along for the ride were Prince Philip, Prince Andrew and Prince Harry, who all looked dapper in the obligatory top hat and tails.

Make no mistake, she may be 89 and been sitting on the throne for 62-years, but Her Majesty the Queen can still draw a crowd as she was met with an eruption of cheers and applause when she arrived to the grand event.
The Monarch, who wore a stunning pink coat and matching hat, thoroughly enjoyed her day in sun with her family as she mingled with a beaming smile.
