In the shot Prince Oscar, who was welcomed at Karolinska Hospital in Stockholm last week, sleeps peacefully as he’s swaddled up in a soft cream-coloured rug.
The adorable newborn, who already boasts a mop of dark hair, looks the picture of contentment.

It’s the second shot proud parents Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, 38, and husband Prince Daniel, 42, have shared of their son following a sweet family photo as they left the hospital.
While their four-year-old daughter Princess Estelle beams proudly alongside her new sibling, little Oscar couldn’t actually be seen in the photo.
Following the exciting new arrival, Prince Daniel said he was over the moon. “I have not had time to feel just yet how it feels to be a father of two. But it feels good so far!”
It truly is a modern day love story after Crown Princess Victoria, who will one day inherit the Swedish throne, fell in love with her personal trainer Daniel back in 2001.
The pair married in a lavish ceremony at Stockholm Cathedral in 2010. Since starting a family, they now live in Stockholm’s Haga Palace.
Last week, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and Princess Princess Estelle posed with their new family member as they left the hospital.
