Refusing any help from a stylist, the Duchess is understood to have hand-picked each outfit, choosing a clever mix of local and British designers.

William and Kate will travel to Malaysia next, before visiting the Pacific nations of Tuvalu and the Solomon Islands.

Kate paid tribute to her host country in an array of oriental-inspired outfits.

Kate wore a bespoke dress by Jenny Packham on day three of the tour.
