Sarah Roberts, who is known for playing Willow on beloved Australian soap Home and Away turns 36 today – and you can bet the tributes are already flowing.
The stunning Aussie actress, who is married to her co-star James Stewart, is likely celebrating the day with some low key catch ups, but the internet will be doing anything but keeping her big day a quiet affair.
On Friday, December 4, the official Home and Away Instagram page kicked things off.
“We’re wishing @sarahroberts the happiest of birthday’s today!” The caption read.
The official page then invited fans to comment their own well wishes in the comments.
Hundreds of fans quite happily obliged.
“Hip hip hooray. Happy Birthday Sarah,” wrote one.
Another said: “Happy Birthday Gorgeous Girl.”
Sarah was certainly feeling the love, with plenty of other fans taking to their own pages to share a tribute to the actress.
And of course, Sarah’s nearest and dearest had plenty of beautiful tributes for her special day.
Her husband and fellow actor James Stewart shared a stunning image of Sarah alongside the caption: “Happy Birthday my love..”
Sarah replied to her beau in the comments section, writing: “Thank you my love 😘😘”
Other Home and Away stars also shared messages of love for Sarah, including Georgie Parker.
“Happy birthday you glorious fellow [Sagittarius],” she said in comment beneath James’ pic.
Former co-star Orpheus Pledger also shared a message beneath the pic, writing “Happy birthday ❤️” to Sarah.
And in another sweet post, Tim Franklin, who plays Colby on Home and Away also shared a beautiful candid snap of Sarah, writing, “Happy birthday to one of our river girls!”
He continued: “Boss lady, an incredible actress, adorable smile, loveable personality, and just overall the sweetest woman ever.
“We love you so much sarah, thankyou for playing willow harris so perfectly and pulling on all of our heart strings with your incredible acting. keep shining, you’re incredible. Have a fantastic day, you deserve it more than anything.”
She kicked her birthday weekend off in style just yesterday, attending the Australian Women’s Weekly Women of the Future Awards alongside close pal and fellow co-star Penny McNamee.
While there, Sarah spoke of her love for Penny, telling The Weekly that she was her “biggest inspiration”.
“Penny’s so kind, she is always checking in with me and asking if I’m okay at work. We don’t actually get to do that many scenes together but she’s always checking in with me which I love.”
