Sarah Ferguson regularly uses her Instagram page to shine a light on her charity work and family photos, but now she’s embraced another social media platform.
The Duchess of York has revealed that she’s signed up to career social media network LinkedIn with a profile that perfectly balances her professionalism and fun side.
Taking to Instagram, the 60-year-old ex wife of Prince Andrew shared a glamorous headshot of herself and a link to her new LinkedIn profile.
“Excited to join @linkedin. Link in my bio #LinkedIn,” Fergie captioned a professional photo of herself dressed in a chic black dress, but accessorised with bright pink nails.
Once you click through to the Duchess of York’s profile, her professions are listed as “Spokesperson, Author, Producer and Humanitarian.”
“The Duchess of York is a global humanitarian, businesswoman, best selling children’s book author, producer and wellness advocate,” her profile reads.
Sarah’s profile then goes on to detail her work with Children in Crisis that she founded in 1993, one year after she and Prince Andrew officially separated.
“Recently CIC merged with Street Child and The Duchess is Founder Patron, remaining active in its mission to provide education to forgotten children around the world. She has recently returned from visiting Street Child’s projects in Nepal and Sierra Leone, supporting the most marginalised into education and out of bonded labour,” the profile reads.
As the author of over 55 books, the Duchess of York’s writing credentials are also listed including her two autobiographies and numerous children’s books.
Two of her books even focused on royal life with the LinkedIn profile reading: “The Duchess retraced Queen Victoria’s travels abroad to co-write Travels with Queen Victoria as well as Osborne House.

There was even a reference in Fergie’s profile to the media attention she’s garnered over the years since marrying into the royal family and divorcing Prince Andrew in 1996.
“The subject of countless media interviews herself, The Duchess has also found success as a reporter and presenter,” the final paragraph reads.
“In America, she has been a special correspondent for NBC’s Today show and has presented specials and documentaries on ABC, FOX, and CNN. In Britain, she has presented and co-produced specials for ITV, BBC, and Sky TV. She has served as guest editor on BBC Radio 4 Today programme and has regularly contributed to BBC Radio 2’s primetime lifestyle show Steve Wright.”
Fergie’s likes can also be seen including Forbes, the British Heart Foundation and The Anti-Slavery Collective, the latter of which was co-founded by her youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie.
During the coronavirus crisis, the Duchess of York has launched her own initiative Storytime with Fergie and Friends via YouTube and Facebook to keep children entertained during lockdown.
“I’ll be reading both my own stories and others and asking friends to join in. It’s all free and just for fun. There will be a new story posted every weekday at 4pm and a longer storytime on Saturdays,” she wrote.
“I so hope you enjoy them and they give some of you something new to do during this difficult time for everyone.”
