Sam Frost’s Home and Away days may be behind her, but it hasn’t stopped her from sharing hilarious throwback videos of her time on the soap.
The 32-year-old who played Jasmine Delaney took to Instagram to share a never-before-seen blooper video of a scene with former co-stars Ditch Davey and Penny McNamee.
In the outtake, Sam’s character stands on the beach while chatting to Penny and Ditch’s characters, Tori and Christian, but as she went to walk away took a bad stumble on a sandbank, prompting Ditch, the crew and Sam to erupt with laughter.
“Looking through my camera roll for H&A clips and found this gem.. what an idiot 🤦🏼♀️ legit the world’s clumsiest person! Also lol at @ditchdaveyofficial reaction 😂 Geez I miss laughing with the crew, so much fun,” Sam captioned the video.
Ditch reminisced on the funny video, commenting: “One of my all time fav moments, from one of my all time fav people!”
Former Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson wrote: “Hahahah this is the best ever!!!” while Rove McManus also shared his delight at the blooper: “Already watched five times through and just keeps getting funnier.”
Sam’s nostalgia for her Home and Away cast and crew comes after she enjoyed a reunion with former co-star Lynne McGranger on Tuesday.
Lynne, who plays Irene Roberts, shared a heartwarming selfie of herself and Sam after running into the 32-year-old unexpectedly.
“When you’re out for a cheeky walk between scenes and you bump into a gorgeous friend. So lovely seeing you @fro01 🥰💖👏🏼💞😘,” Lynne captioned the picture.
Equally as delighted to see her old coworker, Sam was quick to comment on the post, writing: “What a beautiful surprise!!!! ❤️ it’s made my day! Love you so much Lynnie xxxxx.”
Sam’s departure from Home and Away in January came two months after the actress faced backlash for voicing her opinions on the COVID vaccine through a since-deleted Instagram video.
“I was really hesitant about doing a video or even speaking up about this sort of thing, but I feel like it’s getting to a point now in the world where there’s a lot of segregation,” Sam said in the video.
Following the backlash, Sam originally announced she would be taking a temporary break from Home & Away to undergo a procedure, explaining she wouldn’t be fully vaccinated until mid to late February.
A month later, Channel Seven confirmed the actress had made the decision to leave the soap permanently. It is understood that her departure is not related to the network’s vaccine policy.
“I quit my dream job at Home and Away to look after my mental health. I needed to take a step back, go home and be with my family,” Sam revealed this month.
Lynne then revealed during an interview with Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa that there will always be a place for her to return.
“She spoke to me, can I just say the door is not closed, it’s very much an open door. Sam needed to be with her family and they are down in Melbourne,” Lynne said.
