What does one do when a public holiday falls on a Tuesday, and they just so happen to have the day off on the Monday before? Why, go to Byron Bay of course.
That at least was Home and Away star Sam Frost’s thought process, and oh boy can we agree with her more? Seriously, the more pictures she shares from the dreamy trip, the more envious we get.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Sam shared several gorgeous snaps from the iconic coastal location in New South Wales.
From walks on the beach to beautiful hilltop views, the former Bachelor star looked to be having quite the dreamy escape.

Her fans and fellows certainly picked up on it. On Monday, she posted a picture to her Instagram from the quaint bedroom inside her accomodation, the rustic, beach house-style interior was enough to have us grappling for more details.
But of all people, it was Sam’s co-star Penny McNamee that bet us all to the punch.
“Where are you girlfriend?!? Looks like heaven!” She surmised for us all.
“I had today off work, so snuck off to Byron for a 4 day weekend,” Sam promptly replied.
Penny’s answer was sweet proof of their friendship: “You are my self-care hero.”

While her position looks a little odd, we can certainly relate to the wriggle-round when finding a comfy way to flip through the pages of a novel.
Sam reiterated it: “Actually comfy tbh,” she affirmed.
Sam’s holiday reading position was all too familiar.
