There was no awkward dinner table warble for Prince George on his birthday yesterday.

As the little Prince turned the big 2, the royal guards took to the yard of Buckingham Palace for a rousing rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’, complete with furry hats and all.

Although the little Prince probably didn’t see it (considering he is still at Amner Hall with mum, dad and little Charlotte), it’s still a very nice gesture on behalf of the palace.

And they didn’t stop there, either. In honour of Prince George’s formal entrance into the terrible twos, Westminister Abbey set their bells a’ringing in celebration.
