Her rise into the spotlight may not have been smooth – or well supported by the press or greater public – but no one can deny that Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall takes her duties as a royal very seriously.
After marrying Charles in 2005, Camilla has kept mostly out of the spotlight, and is often seen accompanying Prince Charles to events and engagements, as well as supporting her husband at his royal engagements.
A dedicated supporter of charities and organisations that focus on women’s health, sexual abuse and assault support, literacy, animal welfare, poverty and homelessness, Camilla spends the majority of her public life attending events in support of said charities.
In addition to her public life, Camilla is also interested in horse riding, hunting, and watching television with Charles.
