Prince William and Duchess Catherine have decided to take Prince George and Princess Charlotte on a special family holiday to Balmoral.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge planned the trip to fit in some much-needed family time with “Granny” Queen Elizabeth before they jet off to Canada on a royal tour, according to Hello Magazine.
It’s not yet known whether George and Charlotte will be accompanying the royal couple on tour.
While at the Scottish castle, reportedly Queen Elizabeth’s favourite royal residence, the children will be able to run around and play in the expansive grounds of the picturesque estate.
“It’s the most beautiful place on Earth,” Princess Eugenie said of Balmoral in a previous interview. “I think Granny is the most happy there. I think she really, really loves the Highlands.”
“Walks, picnics, dogs – a lot of dogs, there’s always dogs – and people coming in and out all the time,” she continued.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte will get to enjoy all those things on their upcoming trip, with Mummy and Daddy making sure they have a lovely time.
They will also get to spend quality time with their grandmother, who they fondly refer to as “Gan-Gan”.
“It’s a lovely base for Granny and Grandpa, for us to come up and see them up there,” Eugenie revealed previously.
“You just have room to breathe and run.”
