Princess Mary helped christen a brand new bridge climb trail in Denmark which was inspired by Australia’s very own Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb.

Crown Princess Mary, 43, did away with the regal finery that she is known for and still managed to look gorgeous, if a little windswept, in the grey jumpsuit uniform as she took to the new tourist attraction at Old Little Belt Bridge in between the Danish towns of Fredericia and Middelfart.

With the challenging walk clocking in at just over 1km, which requires visitors to strap in for safety due to the bridge’s 60 metre height, the Tasmanian-born beauty proved that she’s able to tackle such daredevil activities with guts and determination.

Mary and her husband Prince Frederick are amongst the celebrities who have undertaken the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb – the same attraction that has inspired the Danish tour. And making it all the more special is the fact that the pair met in Sydney during the 2000 Olympics.

Down-to-earth Mary made sure to chat with the locals as she arrived and left the rural venue, with many local children gathering around for a chat.

The Daredevil Princess gives the crowd a wave from the extreme climbing experience, over 60 metres in height.

Doing away with her usual stylish and regal finery Mary instead adopted the compulsory grey jumpsuit uniform of the climbing tour.

In spite of the drab uniform and the windy weather, the Aussie-born Princess still managed to look elegant as ever, sporting a pair of sparkling diamond earrings to add a touch of glamour to the affair.

The down-to-earth Princess made sure to stop and chat with the locals as she arrived at the experience in at Old Little Belt Bridge in between the Danish towns of Fredericia and Middelfart.

Of course, being a Princess she had to arrive in style and also got a lift from this fabulous vintage car.
