The sweet two-year-old has grown up in front of our eyes, but now thanks to some very clever scientists, you can see what he’s predicted to look like throughout the years.
It’s hard to imagine Prince George no longer being that adorable, tongue-poking tot, but the wizards at the Bradford University in England have developed new age-progression technology that makes it possible.
Professor Hassan Ugail explained the software predicts what the third in line to the throne will look like at age seven, 20, 40 and even 60 years old.
“So we take these roughly 30 to 40 facial features … [and] we map it into the machine and then we produce the age,” he told Reuters.
George continues to bear a striking resemblance to Dad, Prince William. He will apparently still have the same pinch-worthy plump cheeks and almond-shaped blue eyes.
The professor also imagined Prince George’s little sister, Princess Charlotte, at the same ages.
Princess Charlotte as a youngster and adult looks just like her dad and her late grandmother, Princess Diana. And according to the technology, she’ll age gracefully, looking young and fresh-faced well into her sixties!
The Bradford team only looked slightly into the future with the royals’ parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the age of 47.
The scientists claim the progression software is 80 precent accurate, and therefore more precise than existing technology.
They hope the new developments will be utilized in aiding police with the search for missing children.
