Our favourite royal boys make an appearance in top baby name list

Princes George, Harry and William have all made an appearance in the UK's top baby name list. But who have most British babies been named after?

George, William and Harry.

Yes, they’re a few of our favourite royals, and they also happen to have made it into the UK’s top ten baby names.

Harry was the third most popular boys name for 2014, according to new data from the Office for National Statistics.

Over 5,000 baby boys were given the Prince’s name last year.

George came in seventh on the list, moving three places up the ranks from 2013’s list. We’re thinking His Royal Cuteness might have something to do with it.

While William has come in tenth on the UK’s list, the Prince’s name is the second most popular for boys in Australia, according to statistics from McCrindle.

And if you’re wondering about Princess Charlotte, she didn’t make the cut in the UK.

But down under the smallest royal has the second most popular name, with Olivia the only name ranked in a higher place.
