Royals are famous for the love of hats but their hats don’t always love them back – as Queen Maxima of The Netherlands discovered yesterday.
The 44-year-old monarch nearly lost her plum-coloured headgear when a stiff breeze caught it outside the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
