Queen Elizabeth has been escorted safely out of the Goring Hotel in London after her lunch with senior servants was rudely interrupted by a seemingly intoxicated intruder.
Luckily for the Queen, David Morgan-Hewitt, managing director of the hotel was there to protect her when the intruder ran inside.
Pictures show Morgan-Hewitt escorting Her Majesty out of her private lunch.
The man reportedly sprinted into the hotel before being wrestled outside by a royal protection officer. He was patted down by the officer who took his details before letting him go.
The Goring is a favourite haunt of the Royal Family’s, which could be due to its close proximity to Buckingham Palace.
It’s also where Kate Middleton spent her final night as a single woman before her wedding.
