Just because she’s the head of the British Royal Family doesn’t mean Queen Elizabeth II can’t have a laugh!

As previously reported by Now To Love, last weekend, the world was gifted a teaser for an upcoming ITV documentary hosted by The Queen’s trusted confidante and celebrated naturalist Sir David Attenborough, also 91, called The Queen’s Green Planet.

Queen Elizabeth and Sir David Attenborough

The Queen and Sir David have been friends for decades!

And while the first teaser of the doco shows the two icons enjoying a stroll around the lush gardens of Buckingham Palace discussing Her Majesty’s inspiring initiative – The Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy, a conservation project which sees the protection of forests throughout the Commonwealth nations – this new clip has the Queen cracking a couple of jokes.

And at whose expense? President Donald Trump’s.

Walking through the Palace’s garden, the Queen is visibly disturbed by an overhead helicopter flying above, giving Her Royal Highness the opportunity to show off her hilarious sense of humour.

“Why do they always go round and round when you want to talk?” she asks. “It sounds like President Trump … or President Obama.”

The Queen clearly has a wicked sense of humour, with Sir David unable to contain his laughter.

Sir David can’t help but laugh at the Queen’s gaff (neither can we) as the two continued to tour the greenery of Buckingham’s gardens.

But the laughs don’t stop there with Sir David pointing out a sundial incorrectly positioned in the shade. The Queen laughs, “Had we thought of that? That it was planted in the shade, it wasn’t in the shade originally, I’m sure?

“Maybe we could move it?”

Crack-ups (and bushes crushed at palace parties by people sitting on them) aside, the Queen and Sir David’s team-up, to be aired on April 16, will focus on a Commonwealth environmental campaign that the Queen uses as an opportunity to talk about things like climate change, Trump, as well as her own passing.

If these laughs are anything to go by, we are counting down the days to watch the doco on April 16!
