There’s nothing we love more than a royal dressed in their best ballgown and Princess Charlene was no exception when she stepped out on Monday for the 73rd Red Cross Gala in Monte Carlo.
Accompanied by her husband Prince Albert of Monaco, the 44-year-old royal oozed elegance as she posed for photos in a dazzling ice blue Prada dress with floral detailing.
Charlene accessorised her look with a black clutch bag, a silver bracelet and the exquisite Van Cleef & Arpels Flying Butterfly Necklace.
The South African born royal smiled serenely as she posed for photos with her husband who wore a dark blazer, white pants and a bright red tie.
The Red Cross Gala was launched in 1948 by Albert’s father Prince Rainier III and is a charity ball attended by Monaco’s biggest names.
Also in attendance was Albert’s niece Camille Gottlieb who is his sister Princess Stephanie’s daughter. The 24-year-old also posed for photos with her uncle and aunt.
The glamorous event comes just days after Charlene and Albert stepped out with their seven-year-old twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.
The royal children received their “Seadventures Summer Camp” diploma from the Yacht Club of Monaco after a week of training to discover sailing and raise awareness of the marine world.
According to the Palais Princier de Monaco page, the twins had taken part in an introductory course in diving and water rescue at the Monegasque sea academy the previous week.
After months of being stranded in South Africa when she contracted a severe ear, nose and throat infection in May, Charlene is well and truly back to her royal duties.
She and Albert celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary at the beginning of the month and to mark the occasion shared an official photograph taken at the Prince’s Palace in Monte Carlo.
In the snap, the royal couple can be seen holding hands in a rare display of public affection and Charlene was also spotted wearing her Tabbah diamond stud earrings – the same pair she wore during their 2011 civil ceremony.
