Princess Beatrice has thanked royal fans for their well-wishes following the birth of her first child by sending out touching hand-written notes.
The 33-year-old welcomed daughter Sienna Elizabeth in September 2021, just over a year after she wed husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Beatrice announced Sienna’s arrival two days after giving birth and was flooded with messages of congratulations on social media, as well as by post in the UK.
Now Sienna is almost four months old and royal fans who sent their well-wishes to her parents by mail have started to receive heartfelt thank-you notes from the royal couple.
One fan, who goes by @mountbattenandwindsor on Instagram, shared photos of the gorgeous hand-written card that arrived in their mailbox on Wednesday.
The front featured baby Sienna’s footprints in black ink on a pink background, while the back read: “Thank you so much for thinking of us at this remarkable and special time.
“We are so thankful to have welcome this little person into our family. She is a little rockstar!”
Beatrice then signed off in her elegant script: “With love Beatrice, Edo, Wolfie and Sienna.”
It’s common for royals to send thank-you cards to members of the public who post messages of congratulations around special occasions like births, marriages and weddings.
However, not every royal has the time to include a hand-written message, making this note extra special for the excited fan who received it.
Other royal enthusiasts commented on the post, “Oh I love this! What a special keepsake!💕🌷”, adding that it was a “lovely and heartfelt” gesture from Beatrice.

Already a stepmother to Christopher ‘Wolfie’, Edoardo’s son from a previous relationship, Beatrice was overjoyed to round out their family with a little girl and has kept a low profile since giving birth last year, stepping out for only a handful of times over the holiday period.
She and Edoardo attended a royal wedding in Greece in October 2021, which marked the princess’ first outing since becoming a mother.
Then the couple made an appearance at the Christmas carol concert hosted by Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge in December.
More recently, the proud mum was spotted on a family ski trip to Verbier, Switzerland where she was photographed wearing a rather touching necklace.
The delicate gold chain royal fans spotted around her neck bore three pendants with the initials ‘E’, ‘W’ and ‘S’ – symbolising her husband, stepson and daughter’s names respectively.
