Crowds have gathered at Sydney Opera house to farewell Prince Harry.
The cheeky Prince is set to meet Sydneysiders as he winds up his month-long secondment with the Australian Defence Force.
The fifth in line to the throne is set to take part in a military exercise on Sydney Harbour this morning before joining NSW Premier Mike Baird at the Man of War steps at the Opera House.
He will meet with fans at 12.30pm.
During his time in Australia, Captain Wales – as he is referred to while on duty – has learnt bush survival, laughed with locals and played a game of wheelchair AFL.
His father, Prince Charles joked our favourite royal rascal has also been indulging in Vegemite and Lamingtons during his spare time.
In an affectionate speech, Prince Charles said, “I suspect my old Harry is pretty well acclimatised by now and will probably be eating Lamingtons, Vegemite [ similar to Marmite] sandwiches, iced Vo-vo’s [a biscuit topped with jam, fondant and coconut] and violet crumble bars – and may even be threatening to buy a pair of “budgie smugglers!”
Clearly well-in-tune with what Aussies love best he added, “‘Whatever the case Ladies and Gentlemen, I am sure he’ll be happy down under because of the Aussies’ fondness for “rangas!”
Since Captain Harry Wales – as he is known while on duty – reported for service with the North-West Mobile Force (NORFORCE) and the 1st Brigade his work has included flight simulator training, soldiering, physical training exercises and meeting with wounded troops. He was briefed on NORFORCE’s operations and trained in bush survival lessons, including how to source food and water. It’s a wonder he has time for much else at all!
Harry travelled to Turkey for Gallipoli commemorations and is now back in Australia to spend time with Australian Army units in Perth and Sydney. Click through our gallery to see what he has been up to.

Harry learnt the tricks of bush survival with his comrades.
Harry started his tour with Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH) Tiger.
While on duty with NORFORCE, Harry caught up with locals of the Wuggubun community in the Kununurra region of Western Australia, around 470 kilometres southwest of Darwin.
Harry travelled with members of the 1st Aviation Regiment on an ARH Tiger reconnaissance flight from Robertson Barracks, Darwin.
