Like any family, the royals all have very special nicknames for one another โ€“ already, included is Duchess Meghan Markle.

According to the Mail On Sunday, Prince Charles, 69, has been so impressed with his daughter-in-law that heโ€™s started to call her โ€œTungstenโ€ after the rare metal because sheโ€™s โ€œtough and unbending just like the very strong metal.โ€

Indeed, the royal baptism of fire Meghan Markle has faced would be enough to upend almost anyone but the Duchess of Sussex has taken it all in her stride.

โ€œPrince Charles admires Meghan for her strength and the backbone she gives Harry, who needs a tungsten-type figure in his life as he can be a bit of a softy. Itโ€™s become a term of endearment,โ€ an insider explained to the publication.

โ€œCabbageโ€, โ€œDarlingโ€ and โ€œLilibetโ€ are just a few of the sweet titles Prince Philip has for his wife, The Queen; Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla have long called each other โ€œFredโ€ and โ€œGladysโ€ and Princess Diana used to call William โ€œWombatโ€ and Harry โ€œGingerโ€ when they were little.

Once sheโ€™s developed a close enough rapport, Meghan Markle will be able to call the Queen โ€œMamaโ€!
