Prince George is way cuter than predicted!

The birth a royal baby filled royalists with eager anticipation about what he'd look like and it seems the prince has exceeded expectations.

Not long after the royal pregnancy was announced Washington-based forensic scientist Joe Mullins used sophisticated computer-generated imagery to forecast what the unborn child of the Duke and Duchess might have looked like based on the genetic traits of the parents.

“For Kate and William’s baby, I think there is a lot of good genes in the mix there,” Mullins told UK reporters when his images were released in December 2012.

The results depicted an “adorable” child and Mullins reportedly said that should the royal couple have a boy he would inherit William’s features, including his thin ears and receding hairline with a genetic chance to become a “royal beauty”.

And a royal beauty he is but as the little prince grows he’s showing little signs of the tanned, brunette child with crystal blue eyes that the expert prophesied.

The strawberry blonde prince plays with his mother at the polo earlier this year.

Mullins told the Daily Mail back in 2012 not to expect “a fair skinned baby with blonde hair” but at 11-months-old George appears to have inherited his father’s pale complexion and his uncle Harry’s famed ginger mop.

According to Vanity Fair royal sources claim Wills and Kate plan on trying for another baby soon.

“As for speculation about when Prince George will have a sibling, [Katie] Nicholl reports that there are rumours among the couple’s friends that they plan to try this summer,” the article reads.

So perhaps the scientist will have more luck with his predictions of a baby princess.

Only time will tell.
