Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s top secret zoo visit!

The royal tots enjoyed a special day out to a petting zoo while their mum and dad spent a night away in Yukon.

While the Duke and Duchess enjoyed a parents’ night off, away from their darling ones, in the old gold rush town of Whitehouse in Yukon, the mini royals had some fun of their own.

Prince George, three, and his 16-month-old sister Charlotte spent a day at the Beacon Hill Children’s Farm in Victoria, British Columbia, according to Us Weekly.

As their mum and dad were busy attending a slew of engagements, the siblings were escorted by their nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, and other members of the royal team.

The petting zoo was closed off from the public, and opened just for Georgie and Charlotte so that they could enjoy the fun all for themselves!

George takes a more tentative approach with his rabbit encounter…

“George had the chance to pet a baby moose,” a source told the publication. “And Charlotte was able to see baby pigs, goats and alpacas.”

The farm is situated just ten short minutes from Government House, which is where The Cambridges are staying throughout the duration of their eight-day tour.

No doubt George and Charlotte would have loved a secret day out with the animals, and considering that George already knows his way around a zoo, we bet he would have had a ball teaching his sister the ropes.

This isn’t the Prince’s first rodeo!

In 2014, on George’s first international royal tour to Australia and New Zealand, the then eight-month-old enjoyed a day out at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo.

Back then, he stole the show and the hearts of royal watchers when he squealed in delight at the sight of a sweet little bilby.
