Prince Charles has always had a love of dancing โ he even told us.
Charles first spoke of his fondness of boogying in an interview with The Weekly in 1974, declaring โif I hear rhythmic music, I just want to get up and dance.โ
And it appears even at age 66 the heir to the throne hasnโt lost his dancing shoes.
On Tuesday the Prince of Wales and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall attended the Eisteddfod Cultural Festival in Llangollen, Wales where they met royal fans, tasted the local bear and Charles shook oneโs groove thing with the local performers.
Yes Charles, โshow โem how we Windsors do, yeah yeahโ.
Charles told The Weekly in our 2013 80th anniversary issue that he does worry his dancing might not be as hip as it once was.
โItโs slightly less becoming once you get to my age,โ Charles told The Weeklyโs Juliet Rieden. โI think given half a chance though, the old one-two and the two-step can come in handy. Iโm glad to say that both my sons have inherited it, I think.โ
Of Prince William and Prince Harryโs hopping and bopping Charles said: โTheyโre very good. They do make me laugh when they get going.โ
Charles and Camilla were a hit during their annual tour of Wales, throwing themselves into all of the local festivities.
Their Royal Highnesses also found themselves at a cookie factory and poured their own pints in the village tavern and thankfully royal photographers were there to capture all the fun.

The local performers seemed delighted the royal wanted to get involved.

But Charles might have been the one who was really honoured to get the dancing gig.

Charles once told The Weekly of Prince William and Prince Harryโs hopping and bopping: โTheyโre very good. They do make me laugh when they get going.โ

But we think you do just fine your Highness.

Charles also took time out from the dance floor to greet local fans.

And wave the local flag with wife Camilla by his side.

The Duke and Duchess even visited the local tavern to pour a pint.

โIs this how itโs supposed to look?โ Charles inspects his handy work.

And then gets on enjoying his beer.

Before having a game of darts.

Charles and Camilla also visited a local cookie factory.

And judging by the look on his face, we think the Prince of Wales might just been busted trying to sneak a sweet treat.
