Letโs face it, being a royal isnโt always as glamorous as itโs cracked up to be.
Sure thereโs shiny bling, regal robes, royal boxes at Wimbledon and pretty palaces.
But thereโs also a hell of a lot of small talk, a serious amount of travel and transit days, more waving in a day than us normal folk would do in a lifetime, fake smiling and cutting ribbon โ so much ribbon.
So itโs good to see Prince Charles and his wife of 12 years Duchess Camilla still enjoying themselves on the road โ even after they carried out a whopping 629 engagements together last year.
The couple have hit the ground running as they embark on a jam-packed royal tour of Canada to celebrate the nationโs 150-year anniversary.
And at one of the events in Iqaluit, Nunavut, the pair were welcomed by a traditional throat singing performance, which is known as katajjaq, and delivered by two Inuit women.
The aim of the game is to see who can last the longest and not run out of breath. Often the throat-singers themselves will end up laughing if they lose their breath or canโt keep up.
As the ladies sung with their throats in an incredible display of talent, the royal couple began giggling at the fascinating sight.
The pair seemed very captivated by the musical offering and could be seen asking questions to the person sitting next to them.
Of course nothing these days comes without backlash and it hasnโt taken long for social media to blow up with criticism.
โUneducated and disrespectful royal idiots. Prince Charles And Camilla Laugh During Inuit Throat-Singing Performance,โ one person fumed on twitter.
โUgh Prince Charles and Camilla laugh during Inuit throat singing. How #notclassy of you,โ another added.
By the looks of it, the future King of England isnโt listening to the hatersโฆ
