An international trailer has been released for the new movieDiana, starring Naomi Watts as the late Princess of Wales.
The film focuses on the last two years of Diana’s life, in particular her relationship with Pakistani heart surgeon Hasnat Khan, with whom she was in a relationship from 1995 to 97.
The relationship deteriorated because Khan, played byLostactor Naveen Andrews, did not want to live in the public eye. Close friends of Diana still claim he was the love of her life.
“If I marry you, I’ll have to marry the whole world as well,” he tells her in the trailer..

Naomi bears an uncanny resemblance to the princess, and her voice is eerily spot-on, but the actress says she does not envy the life Diana had.
“Someone like her could not make a move without planning it within an inch of her life. It creates a lonely existence and a paranoid state of mind,” she said.
Dianais due to be released in Australia on October 10.
