Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have revealed the brand-new name and mission of their biggest project to date as they step back as senior royals, and leave their former Sussex Royal title behind.

In a rare statement to UK newspaper The Telegraph, the publication stated they had been told by the couple themselves about their new charity, which theyโ€™ve been working on behind-the-scenes as they set up their new home in Los Angeles (whilst remaining under self-isolation).

And while the various branches of the new charity are intriguing enough to hear about, itโ€™s the brand-new name that we canโ€™t get past โ€“ because it also reveals something special about their son.

The couple revealed to the publication that the name will be Archwell โ€“ curiously similar to that of their 11-month-old baby Archie.

Interestingly, the word โ€œArchwellโ€ is derived from the Greek word for โ€œsource of actionโ€, and The Telegraph reports it was the inspiration behind the name of their son.

The pair told the newspaper that with their charity, they wanted to โ€œdo something of meaning, to do something that matters.โ€

As for what their work will entail, the report revealed the pair would run a multi-media educational empire, run support groups and even have a wellbeing website.

The evidence stacks up. Earlier this year the pair famously paid a secret visit to Stanford University where it was reported at the time that they were there to discuss future endeavours in line with education.

As for a wellbeing website, Duchess Meghan is well versed on that front.

Before marrying into the royal family, Meghan ran her own lifestyle blog called The Tig, which was filled with food, travel and lifestyle advice.

With a keen interest in wellbeing and healthy living, weโ€™re sure the 38-year-old mum will have plenty of pearls of wisdom to share on the new platform.

In March, it was revealed Harry and Meghan had relocated from their residence on Vancouver Island to LA, having caught one of the last flights back to Meghanโ€™s former home before planes were grounded due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Since touching down in Los Angeles, which is also where Meghanโ€™s mother Doria lives, the pair have kept a low profile, abiding by WHO advice to stay indoors and self-isolate.

With the extra downtime, weโ€™re sure the pair have had plenty of time to plot some incredible ideas for their new charity.
